Photography Exhibition

Since graduating from the Ontario College of Art in 1971, Doug has pursued his passion for photography.

He worked as a graphic designer until 1978 and then when to Queen's University where he received his teaching certificate. He taught Visual Art and Photography at the secondary school level for 28 years.

Upon retiring from teaching, Doug has had more time to pursue his own work. He and his wife enjoy traveling and exploring. Throughout their adventures around the world, Doug has photographed unique moments in time and history.

During a recent trip to India, he captured some of the magic, colour, and spiritualism of this amazing country and its country.

Doug is also attracted to unique characteristics of urban cities taking photos of graffiti, back lanes, market places, and cultural neighbourhoods. Doug hopes his imagies will convey some of the beauty and wonder of the world around us.

Doug has recently participated in the Contact Photography Festival, 401 Richmond Market Place Show and the Toronto Art Expo.
